Strawberry Season Opens Mid-April (Weather Dependent)

Fresh Strawberries
Each spring we grow field and greenhouse strawberries right here on our family farm in Zebulon, North Carolina. Every variety is carefully selected to thrive in our soil and climate, producing sweet, flavorful berries picked at peak ripeness.

Strawberry season is one of the most exciting times on the farm. Many local families have returned since the 1980s, making it a fun family tradition.

Strawberry Season
Opening day is Friday, April 10, 2026. Estimated end of strawberry season is late May.  

During the season we offer:
U-Pick Strawberries
Limited Pre-Picked Strawberries at the Farm Store
Availability can change quickly depending on weather and how heavily the fields are picked, so we recommend checking our Facebook or Instagram for daily updates before visiting.

U-Pick Strawberries
$20 per basket
  • We provide the picking baskets (required for food safety).
  • Fill the basket as full as you like, as long as it can be carried by the handle.
  • Each basket is a flat price.
U-Pick is usually the best value and a great way to enjoy time on the farm.

Pre-Picked Strawberries
For those who prefer not to pick:
  • 4.5 lb box — $25
  • Quart — $8
Pre-picked berries often sell out quickly because they are hand-harvested by our staff.

Monday – Saturday: 9 AM – 7 PM
Sunday: 1 PM – 7 PM

U-Pick is first-come, first-served and may close early if the fields are picked out or during severe weather.

Tips for Your Visit
We recommend bringing closed-toed shoes and a hat or sunscreen.

We accept cash, card, and venmo.

Farm Policies
To comply with food safety regulations required for fresh produce farms, pets are not permitted on the farm property.
We appreciate your understanding as we work to maintain safe growing and harvesting practices for all visitors.
