Strawberry Field Trips at Wrenn’s Farm
We are excited to welcome traditional school and homeschool groups to Wrenn’s Farm during strawberry season for a fun and educational farm experience. Students will learn how strawberries grow, how farmers care for the plants, and how to properly harvest ripe berries—followed by the opportunity to pick strawberries in the field.
Strawberry field trips are typically offered Tuesday–Thursday mornings during strawberry season (mid-April through May) and last approximately 45–60 minutes.
Traditional School Field Trips
School field trips include a short, age-appropriate educational lesson followed by strawberry picking in the field.
Students will learn about:
Teachers and required chaperones attend free, but strawberries are only included for students. Adults who wish to pick strawberries may purchase berries separately.
Group Size
Chaperones: Schools must provide one adult chaperone for every 8–10 students.
Scheduling: Field trips are offered Tuesday–Thursday mornings with typical time slots at:

- Minimum charge equivalent to 25 students ($300 minimum)
- Maximum of 60 students per session
